LDD is the first endpoint security solution to combine intelligent encryption with enterprise-controlled data elimination. Windows Vista Compatibility |

LDD has been entirely reworked to harness the new features of Microsoft's newest operating system, Windows Vista. Using Vista's BitLocker™ technology, encryption has been greatly enhanced
to a level not previously available.

Targeted File Destruction |
| In the case of theft or loss, LDD will securely delete specifically targeted files (or file types or locations) in the order that you choose. This ensures that the most critical documents can be destroyed just moments after the first sign of suspicious behavior.

Encryption Key Management |
|
LDD manages BitLocker encryption keys remotely adding a critical layer of data protection. When a PC is compromised, LDD is able to remotely destroy the encryption key thereby denying data access to the holder of the computer. If the threat is removed the LDD administrator can quickly reinstate the key - restoring data access. This unique capability protects data against malicious and careless users.

Mass Deployment Ready |

LDD has made great strides in facilitating mass-deployment of our product. Our newly developed single-file installer allows you to generate pre-configured installations from within your account which are ready to be pushed using your deployment software of choice. LDD is also compatible with image-based installations of Windows.

Easy Administration with Web 2.0 Interface |

Over the past few years, the internet has gone through a major face-lift and has ushered in the era of Web 2.0. Beachhead Solutions has recognized this pattern and has redesigned the LDD Administration Interface to incorporate some of the newest web technologies. The new design focuses on improved workflow as well as ease of use through new tabbed interfaces, the account tree browser, and form wizards.

Machine Inventory and Device Auditing |

LDD's new machine inventory feature lets administrators audit the devices within their account. They can view file info such as filename, encryption attribute, modification date, and
file size. These reports are generated once a week and uploaded to the server to reduce network stress. This feature is optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time from within the web administration panel.
